Maria Hernandez Marchena serves as DCLT’s Bilingual Homebuyer Program Associate, helping connect individuals and families to homebuyer education, community resources, and pathways to affordable homeownership. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Maria brings extensive experience in community outreach, education, and client support, with a passion for serving diverse and immigrant communities. Her work focuses on empowering families with the knowledge and resources needed to achieve their homeownership goals.

Maria’s role supports DCLT’s collaboration with the Local Keys Partnership and Unidos to expand access to homeownership education and resources for Spanish-speaking and multicultural communities throughout Durham.
