Triangle Business Journal on Wednesday revealed the esteemed winners of its 2025 Women in Business Awards.
The gallery below features this year’s Women in Business Awards winners, appearing in random order after the Lifetime Achievement Award winner Van Eure.
Eure owns and operates The Angus Barn, the iconic Raleigh restaurant her father started in 1960. Her leadership has helped solidify its status as a must- visit destination and has led to numerous awards in the hospitality industry.
This year’s class includes 27 decision-makers in a variety of industries, including technology, law, health care and hospitality.
The Women in Business Awards program recognizes Triangle women who have proven to be dynamic and outstanding leaders with established track records of significant accomplishments in business and/or community service. The judges pored over more than 100 entries to come up with this year’s crop of winners.
This year’s winners will be recognized during an awards luncheon on March 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Embassy Suites in Cary. TBJ will profile the winners in a special section that will be published in the March 14 subscriber edition. “It gets tougher with every passing year when it comes to judging from a growing list of accomplished leaders,” said TBJ President and Publisher Sougata Mukherjee. “We had one of the highest numbers of nominations this year, which is an attestation to the importance and prestige of the awards program. I look forward to celebrating with the winners at the luncheon.”
A related event, the 10th-annual Mentoring Monday, will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Feb. 24 – at TownBank Center on 4600 Trinity Road in Raleigh. It is part of a larger effort that will happen in 40 markets across the country on the same day and will offer attendees in each market the opportunity to choose from a number of on-site mentors.
Local mentors scheduled for this year’s Mentoring Monday event include Jane Doggett, Triangle market leader at Foundry Commercial; Adrienne Cole, CEO of the Raleigh Chamber; Lisa Jones, CEO of Girl Scouts NC Coastal Pines; and Leslie Walden of Fidelity Investments.
