Rental Projects

Court At Carroll: Completed August 2010

Senior Housing

Court Carroll is a senior housing complex that has been fully transformed into a new look. This complex features one bedroom and one bath unit, in a very adaptable, cozy environment that allows our senior residents to have independence and freedom.



Maplewood Square: Completed October 2009

Senior Housing

Maplewood Square is a 32 unit senior housing complex that serves individuals with the age of 55 and older. It was complete in October 2009 and provides one and two bedroom housing units. The units are spacious, energy efficient with a warm community environment with rents ranging from $318-$510. Project Partners: DHIC and Self-Help.


Morehead Glen Apartments: Completed June 1995

Morehead Glen features 20 townhouse style apartments available to families and individuals with incomes at or below 60% Median Area Income.

Bridges Pointe Apartments: Completed Nov. 2004

This project provides affordable supportive housing options to individuals with sickle cell disease. This house features 2 one-bedroom units and 3 three-bedroom units and is able to house up to eight residents. Supportive services are provided by Bridges Pointe Foundation, a voluntary non-profit organization whose mission is to empower young adults with sickle cell disease.

Commercial Projects

1208 W. Chapel Hill Street: Completed March 2002

Before After

This building is currently home to DCLT and several small start-up businesses. The gut renovation of this landmark property helped stabilize the neighborhood commercial district along W. Chapel Hill Street.


Homeownership Projects

  CAMERON PLACE: Completed August 2013


DCLT's Cameron Place Project consisted of six (6) single-family homes for families at 80% area median income or less.  Homes feature a passive solar design and are SystemVision certified (energy efficient) Several housing units feature steel-frame construction. 


Pauli Murray Place: Completed December 2006

The Pauli Murray Place project consisted of six energy efficient homes built under DCLT's "Affordably Green" initiative. These homes feature solar hot water heaters, energy-star appliances, and solar tempering. All homes are SystemVision certified.


Gut Renovations

During its 20 year history, DCLT has completed

over 75 gut renovations.
