Homeownership Projects:

Pauli Murray Place: Completed December 2006

The Pauli Murray Place project consisted of six energy efficient homes built under DCLT's "Affordably Green" initiative. These homes feature solar hot water heaters, energy-star appliances, and solar tempering. All homes are SystemVision certified.


Gut Renovations

During its 20 year history, DCLT has completed over 75 gut renovations.

Homeownership Projects:

Morehead Glen Apartments: Completed June 1995

Morehead Glen features 20 tax-credit units available to families and individuals with incomes at or below 45% Median Area Income.


Bridges Pointe Apartments: Completed November 2004

Before After

This project provides affordable supportive housing options to individuals with sickle cell disease. This house features 2 one-bedroom units and 3 three-bedroom units and is able to house up to eight residents. Supportive services are provided by Bridges Pointe Foundation, a voluntary non-profit organization whose mission is to empower young adults with sickle cell disease.


Commercial Properties:

1208 W. Chapel Hill Street: Completed March 2002

Before After

This building is currently home to DCLT and several small start-up businesses. The gut renovation of this landmark property helped stabilize the neighborhood commercial district along W. Chapel Hill Street.
